Anthony Pateras on prepared piano and electronics, Sean Baxter on drums and percussion and David Brown on prepared guitar
Anthony Pateras: Was that piano prepared for what happened?
Text to come for this amazing gig. Not a long dissertation, but some thoughts. The lighting really worked for these guys (and few others), but that’s incidental to the music. Still it all adds atmosphere. Let’s hear these guys in Melbourne soon.

Hey Roger,
Just wondering if you’ll be posting your review for PBB?
(Amazing photos, by the way).
Cheers,
Sean Baxter.
My apologies for not managing it yet, Sean. I have been spending too much time painting weatherboards etc. I still intend to finish all the Wangaratta 09 posts with pics and words, but obviously it is so long ago that I will have to depend on my failing memory and scant notes. So I will add some words on PBB, but not a detailed review. That’s no reflection on the worth of the music.
Thanks Roger,
Good luck with the painting in this sweltering heatwave.
BTW, Pateras didn’t use any electronics for that set, just the preparations.
Cheers,
Sean.
